Crystal Chavez

Position: Studio Director / Dance Instructor

Place of Birth: Denver, Colorado

Favorite Food: Asian Food

Favorite Music: I truly enjoy all types of music. My favorite artist, however, is India Arie. I adore soul music!

Favorite Dance: Foxtrot, West Coast Swing and Bolero. Romance, Class, Love and Flirtation are what drive my passion for these dances.

Competition Style: Smooth & Rhythm!

What I Love most about teaching? I love the feeling that ballroom and Latin dancing creates. To share the experience with others has been a blessing.

One thing most people do not know about me is … I love to learn about any and everything!

Bio: Crystal started her dance career in Mexican, Spanish and Peruvian Folklore and then spent some time traveling and performing with a “Baila Conmigo Dance Troupe”.

Somewhere in the middle of her already busy schedule she became a cheerleader and danced on a Nationally Recognized “Pom Squad”.

Being one that is interested in all forms of dance, it was not a surprise move when she joined Fred Astaire Dance Studio in 2007 to study ballroom dancing.
